At Tangerine Salon & Spa, we feel so lucky to be part of the Murfreesboro community. And whenever we can, we love giving back to the people who support our small business.
One of our favorite community partners is the United Way of Rutherford and Cannon Counties. This amazing organization aims to provide an equal chance at a bright future by championing the health, education and financial stability of every person in the community.
In June, we partnered with other area salons and United Way to present the ninth “United We Style,” a hair show and storytelling event at Walnut House in historic downtown Murfreesboro. All proceeds from the event went to the United Way of Rutherford and Cannon Counties.
Get Involved: Stuff the Bus!
Want to contribute to United Way’s efforts? Through July 27, we’re a collection site for United Way’s “Stuff the Bus” campaign. Stuff the Bus helps provide students in Rutherford and Cannon counties with the tools to begin school. Since 2012, Stuff the Bus has provided more than 22,000 local students with school supplies.
Drop off school supplies for local elementary students at Tangerine Salon & Spa during your next service or any time we’re open!
